• Communications with Knock AI support

We also collect information automatically, including IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, time spent, and referral URLs.

• To provide, operate, and improve the Services
• To verify your identity and conduct background checks
• To process payments and issue earnings
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• To match canvassers to campaigns based on geography and availability
• To generate anonymized, aggregated analytics and data products (no PII included)
• To send operational communications, updates, and marketing (with opt-out)
• To comply with legal obligations including FEC reporting requirements

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

• Service providers: Stripe (payments/identity), Checkr (background checks), Fingerprint.com (fraud prevention), Twilio (SMS), and cloud infrastructure providers — all bound by data processing agreements.
• Campaign clients: Only aggregated, anonymized canvassing data. Campaign clients never receive canvasser PII, identity, or contact information.
• Legal authorities: When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Knock AI, our users, or the public.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide Services. Background check records are retained per applicable FCRA requirements. You may request deletion of your account by contacting privacy@knockai.co.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
