Why We Built Knock AI — In Conversation with VoyageATL

Our founder sat down with VoyageATL to talk about modernizing field work and why verified, paid canvassing beats the clipboard.

June 4, 2026 · Knock AI

VoyageATL recently sat down with our founder, Jacob Wynn, for a conversation about where Knock AI came from and where it's headed. You can read the full interview here.

The short version

Knock AI started from a simple frustration: grassroots field work was still being run on manual systems, scattered vendors, and a lot of guesswork. Campaigns rarely knew which doors were actually worked, and the people doing the work weren't always treated like professionals. We set out to fix both sides of that at once.

What we're building

Today that means verified field execution — every door confirmed with GPS, dwell time, and proof of contact — worked by a background-checked, paid canvassing workforce. Organizations get outreach they can trust, and the people knocking get real, accountable work.

Asked how he defines success, Jacob put it plainly:

Success isn't defined only by revenue or valuation — it's measured by impact.

That's the standard we hold the product to.
